Actor × Singer × Musician
Alex Boniello was born and raised near the Meadowlands of Bergen County, New Jersey. He swears New Jersey is much nicer than what you see on MTV. He first started out by performing in numerous rock bands in the New York/New Jersey area, acting as guitarist and singer. He can be seen or heard in voice overs, theatre, television shows, print ads and feature films. His first professional job came from Cartoon Network as a host for their "Nintendo World Takeover." His first major film appearance was in "Detachment," directed by the acclaimed Tony Kaye. The film starred and was produced by Academy Award winning actor Adrien Brody. He was a cast member of the touring company of Green Day's "American Idiot," and an original cast member of Lin-Manuel Miranda and Michael Mayer's "21 Chump Street." The cast album is available on iTunes. Most recently, he appeared with the "All Star Broadway Men's Chorus" in the NYC premiere of Andrew Lippa's "I Am Harvey Milk" at Lincoln Center as well as creating the role of "DJ" in Alex Timbers' and Michael Friedman's "Here's Hoover!" Alex is also an avid video gamer and thinks Gabe Newell should release Half-Life 3.
